Unit One Architects were appointed to design a scheme for the conversion of a  five storey Victorian building into 4 boutique flats. A change of use was required and subsequently approved in order to turn the basement and ground floor betting office into high end residential accommodation. The properties consist of 2 x two bed and 2 x one bed flat with private amenity space. The finished units have high quality timber floors, stone bench tops and highly designed lighting solutions in order to create modern homes from this early Victorian shell.

Unit One Architects increased the value of not only our client’s development but also the surrounding buildings, by gaining planning approval to upgrade the street frontage of the four adjacent buildings at ground floor level. This enabled us to unite the disparate shop fronts in Grosvenor Avenue with oak paneled shop-front and modern detailing.
